Chile is a long country, long and narrow, famous for its tremendous range of different geography. Our 11 DAYS CHILE VOYAGE sets out to discover just that. Years ago, a renowned travel guide referred to Chile as a long narrow string bean of a country. At almost 4000 kilometers long and not 190 kms wide, indeed it is. Imagine taking 11 days to experience the diversity of such a country that is longer than the US (or all of Western Europe) is wide! -- a country full of friendly souls on a seldom visited exotic continent filled with its own flora and fauna, unique history and booming modern day success. Add: snowcapped volcanoes, endless salt flats, emerald blue lakes, glacial Fiords, dense rain forests, the Atacama Desert, Patagonia, the Andes, unique native foods from both land and sea, terrific new world wines, and a conducive setting for pretty much every sport known to man and you have the country of Chile. Perhaps the most difficult part is to trim it down to eleven days.

Well we think mountain biking has a special affinity with Chile. We have tried to pace the days in these adventures with Lake Country Geography in mind.
Have you looked out on the horizon to see a tremendous volcano in the distance, and then taken the afternoon to arrive at the foot of it^ You will. Have you stood half way up it and looked back to where you´ve come only to see the ocean in the distance^ You will. How would you like the satisfaction of bombing down it^ You will.
This trekking trip takes you to the southernmost part of Chile to Patagonia. Here lies one of the world’s most beautiful national parks bar none: Torres del Paine, pronounced tow-race del pie-nay . On this trip you will discover some of the most spectacular parts of the park over 6 days walking: the steep granite Torres del Paine, the enormous glaciers,lonely lakes,lagoons, vast plateaus, ancient forests, and lots and lots of wildlife. You will be accompanied throughout by an English speaking trekking guide who is expert in the flora and fauna of this part of world and has an in-depth knowledge of Patagonia. This trip has been designed to allow travelers to get to some of the less visited treasures of the park. We stay in cozy Hosterias , comfortable Lodges and two nights in a mountain hut in the heart of the Park. We have created a very different visit to Torres that has received rave reviews since its inception four years ago.
After this trip you can continue with our Trekking Tour Highlights of Patagonia (SIB-T-06). On day 6 we fly from Puerto Natales to Argentina and shall explore all the trekking highlights of the Argentinian Patagonia.
The first five days of this trip are identical with as those of 6 Days Hike Torres del Paine National Park trip, afterwards you will cross over to Argentina and enjoy spectacular hikes and walks to the peaks of Fitzroy and the Cerro Torres as well as one of the largest glaciers in the world called Perito Moreno . In this 11 day itinerary you will see all of the patagonian highlights.
