A look into another world - Spaceobs skywatching (in the evening, from San Pedro)
Most of the world’s largest observatories are located in Chile. Why? Because of the sky, with its high number of clear nights per year, excellent atmosphere transparency, and of course the wonderful austral skies. At a lattitude very close to the tropic of Capricorn, the SPACE observatory (San Pedro de Atacama Celestial Observatory) is the largest observatory for tourism observation in Chile. The tours last two and a half hours, but you will remember them for a lifetime.
