Perito Moreno Glacier Excursion (full day from Puerto Natales)
Perito Moreno Glacier We shall set out very early in the morning towards the Argentine border driving across the Patagonian Pampa to Calafate and on to the Perito Moreno Glacier, part of the Continental Ice field. This enormous Ice field is more than four kilometers long and the largest glacier in the world which crashes into an inland water mass. All the time gigantic pieces of the ice-walls break off and plunge with a tremendous din into the Lago Argentino. On safe well-marked trails you will enjoy various vantage points all around the glacier. Return to Chile in the late afternoon. Arrival in Puerto Natales in the late evening.
